1. Prepare the LickMat
Start by spreading a tasty treat your dog loves onto the surface of the LickMat. A small circle of the treat in the centre works well to begin with. 2. Set the Scene for Success
Position yourself on the floor with your dog and place the loaded LickMat in front of them. Pay attention to your body language—dogs are sensitive to our movements, and overly looming or intense body language can make them hesitant to interact with the mat. Keep things calm and positive!
