Highly recommend clicker training for dogs - and I've also used successfully re-training difficult float-loading horses. These are sturdy and do the trick. You do need to know how to correctly teach your dog, with positive reinforcement (in this case, chaining a click to a reward), but it's easy.... especially if your pooch is food orientated! I love that I can reward with a click at a distance. You'll be surprised how quickly they learn with correct timing.
