Snuffle Balls for different levels of persistence

GET THE STANDARD EASY ONE OR CHECK OUT THE TRICKY ONE WITH HIDDEN MAGIC INSIDE

Fill the Snuffle Ball up with your pup's favourite food or treats, toss the ball and let them go wild. Snuffle Balls are the perfect activity to enrich your dog both mentally and physically. Because sniffing activates the part of their brain responsible for releasing dopamine, this toy makes your dog happy while reducing boredom and stress. Fun times!

On the 'Easy' ones you fill the gaps outside and let your dog go for it. This is the most established type of Snuffle Ball and an awesome enrichment intro.

Our 'Tricky' is seriously different from others on the market and will fit a whole meal while you can easily fill it in one go with a funnel. See for yourself:

And even though the filling is so user-friendly, the pup's playtime is no shorter for it.

Features:

  • Tricky: The rubber ball inside is 9cmØ and has plenty of holes to release the food upon tossing.
  • Easy - Large: 15cm
  • Easy - Small: 10cm

When trialling the 'tricky' prototype with Hank, we were sure he'd wreck it pretty quickly, but after pulling at the pieces a couple of times he noticed that wasn't the best strategy to get the treats out and went to tossing, pushing and snuffling. Took him 12 minutes to empty the small cup which is pretty long for him for a non-frozen toy. Consider us impressed! You could remove some strips to make it easier.

Please note: This is not a chew toy. Supervise your dog during use, redirect them to snuffling if they attempt to chew and remove if damaged.

A great toy

My fox terriers love it! The 18 month old pup even sleeps with it ❤️

That is so cute! Enrichment feeder, toss-about toy and snuggle buddy! <3

Willow loves her snuffle ball!

Willow is 4 and completely new to enrichment toys and the large/easy snuffle ball is absolutely one of her favourite toys! It's really helped to introduce her to the concept of snuffling and finding treats, and when there are no treats in it she still likes to play with it by shaking it about.

So happy to hear Willow has discovered the fun of enrichment. And how great that she still enjoys playing with it even when it's empty. :)

The favourite toy

Our new puppy (11 weeks) has no interest in the treats hidden inside yet but loves thrashing around with this toy! It’s been the toy she’s taken to the most and it’s been going to bed with her. I think she enjoys how light it is and easy to carry around.

It’s amazing how some toys just become instant favourites. Sounds like your puppy has made the Snuffle Ball her comfort toy which is very cute! :)

Snuffle ball

It only lasted a day, our dog destroyed the plastic ball

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear your dog damaged the snuffle ball so quickly — I completely understand how disappointing that must be.
I do want to clarify that this product is not designed to be a chew toy, but rather an interactive enrichment tool meant for supervised snuffling and foraging. Like many puzzle toys, it’s important to guide dogs during use and redirect them if they begin chewing, as chewing will lead to damage.
If you'd like to explore alternative enrichment options better suited to your dog’s play style, please feel free to reach out to me directly.

Senna loves it

Our 13week old Dalmatian absolutely adores the small snuffle ball. Needed a little collaboration to figure out how it works the first time but now she is a champion 🤩

Glad Senna worked it out and loves it. Thanks so much for sharing! :)

Hopefully this will work better in the future

I think my dogs need to mature a bit because they spend more time ripping at the fleece rather than trying to figure out how to get the food out. They have 2 maze balls that they love to have with morning feeding.

If it is too challenging for them now, you could consider removing some strips around one of the holes to make it easier. You can always attach them on later again.

Lucy loves her snuffle ball

We have had a snuffle ball for a few months now, and Lucy the Labrador (now 6 months old) loves rolling it around the lounge to eat part of her dinner. I took some strips off it in a couple of strategic places, so some holes had two empty gaps on them, and this made stuffing it super easy (I can quickly jam 1/4 cup royal canin maxi puppy biscuits in, feed them in one by one) and it means she is regularly having her food drop out but not too fast. When it gets a bit gross I just chuck it in a laundry bag and put it through the washing machine and hang it on the line to dry and it’s good to go again. She does also like to chew on it so it’s kept out of reach when not in use.

Naw, sounds like you guys are getting so much joy out of the Snuffle Ball, that's just awesome, thanks so much for sharing! <3

Snuffle ball

Not good for my dog (labraspoodle), he loves a puzzle toy but couldn’t get any of the food out no matter how much he tossed it around so resorted to shredding all the polar fleece strips.

It is quite challenging indeed. Sorry it was a bit too hard for your pooch. I'd recommend removing some strips to give the holes more room to release the food. You could always keep them and add them in once your pup got the hang of it. Alternatively check if you may want to use smaller treat/kibble pieces to make it easier. We are currently looking at adding an easier version of this ball, so great feedback!

Rosie’s snuffle toy.

Rosie is more Lurcher than any other breed. She loves cloth toys so burying her nose in the knots and tossing it in the ear to spill out the treats is great fun. She loves toys and playing with them reduces the carnage on my cushions.

Ha, we'd love to see a video of beautiful Rosie playing with the Snuffle Ball, sounds awesome! <3

A good mind challenge

Initially I thought Polly was just going to rip the strips off but once she worked out that did not help get the food out, she got more creative and the ball would be flying through the air with treats flying out like missiles. A really good challenge and a different way to eat dinner every now and then!

Yay, so glad to hear she figured it out! Once they do it's the BEST toy ever. :D

Keeps pup busy

Took my pup a little while to catch on, but now the snuffle ball will keep him amused for ages and he loves batting it around searching for treats.

Yeah, it's certainly a bit more advanced, but oh, so much fun! <3
