Alternative weight-based option: ~2.5g per 10kg body weight daily.
Use the lower end if your dog is young and healthy, and you're using it for general wellness. Or if you’re just starting the supplement (since it’s not usually an immediate acting supplement, stay there for 3-4 weeks and gradually increase to higher end if you don't notice enough improvement in mobility or comfort).
Use the higher end if your dog is older, recovering from an orthopaedic injury or surgery, showing signs of arthritis, stiffness, or reduced mobility. Or also if they’re very active (e.g. agility, working dog, frequent long hikes).

I am so glad I found this, I was using another brand but this one is more affordable. I was worried my cats won’t like this but they didn’t mind at all. My little chonks are healthy and have shiny fur. I cannot recommend this enough for all fur babies.

Wow, Ollie (grey Wowser)can now jump onto the sofa for his afternoon snooze in the sun. We have not seen him do that for a while and I put it down to the green lipped muscle powder giving him back some vigor in his joints! We are so pleased! Rosie did not want to miss out on sharing a photo.

Our doggie is 13 and getting a bit slower on walkies. It was suggested that she might benefit from a mussel supplement. She LOVES it. And walkies are speeding up, with even a few zoomers! Highly recommended.

A 15 year old pedigree who had a bit of a limp from old age has improved. Still a slight limp, but her appetite is great and she still loves playing 'chase the laser light' during her day. A great product for old age animals and overall animal health.

Resealable bag broke the second time I opened it but I now know I prefer to keep in a glass jar with a scoop.

We’ve got an 11 year old beardie who has been getting pretty stiff in her hips, so we gave a bag of this a go. She’s absolutely loving the stuff, she goes nuts when we add it to her food and completely polishes her bowl every time (which is awesome to see on a dog who has never been that food motivated).
In just the few weeks she’s been having it, we have noticed a difference in her mobility, so I’m looking forward to seeing how she goes for the next few months :)

Green lipped mussel powder is brilliant for adding to the dogs' food mixes, very versatile. I think it stinks, but the dogs love it and its great health insurance for them as they age, supporting their joints and mobility. My oldest who is 11 was starting to look at bit stiff in the mornings, but is back to being his bouncy self since adding GLM. Kiwi Canine is a good supplier - great communication, fast dispatch, and cost-effective for me with lots of dogs.

Not sure why green lipped mussel powder isn't recommended more than fish oil supplements. It has omegas + additional anti-inflammatory properties & is more bioavailable. Really helps manage my pups allergy skin problems & she has such a shiny coat. She is allergic to Salmon oil so I'm very glad I found this. Would be ideal if there were 500g packets, even 300g would be better.

I’ve been using green-lipped mussel powder for my black Labrador, and the results have been outstanding. Her mobility has noticeably improved—she’s moving more freely and seems far more comfortable, especially after walks. I give her a generous teaspoon daily with her biscuits, and she absolutely loves it. On days when we go for a big beach walk (with plenty of swimming), I’ll give her two teaspoons to support her joints, and it works a treat.

I’m glad to have found green lipped mussels in a powder form. Whole dried green lipped mussel treats are great but they disappear fast and are not as cost effective as this powdered form. With this product, my Labrador gets the nutritional benefits of green lipped mussels sprinkled on his food more frequently.
Agreed, whole mussels make for a great snack, but the powder lets us give the benefit reliably in every dinner as well. Glad you found us. :)

My greyhound loves it sprinkled on her meals. She has an existing leg injury from her racing career and the GLM along with regular exercise seems to be supporting her healing and general mobility well. Started giving a tablespoon a night with food to our senior dog who we had noticed was getting stiff in his back and within a week could see a difference! Also his coat was thicker and he just looked happy ☺️ will definitely be buying on a regular basis

My dog won’t eat her food if I put this on BUT in saying that I have the fussiest dog in the world when it comes to taste so definitely not the products fault at all. I’m sure the product is amazing
Ah, what a pity! Most dogs are the opposite and love the smell and taste of this. We even have clients whose dogs won't eat their meal without it on. Could you sneak it in with some raw meat or similar? Otherwise you may need to look into Green Lipped Mussel capsules or similar.
My dog was hesitant at first, but now licks every bit of powder from his bowl! Seems to be a bit more mobile already!
