Why wait weeks to begin training? While our custom muzzles are made to order in Spain, with production and shipping taking 5 to 8 weeks. With this Practice Muzzle, you can get a head start on your dog’s training while you wait.
The Practice Muzzle is designed to help you introduce your dog to muzzle-wearing in a safe, comfortable, and positive way. When trained correctly, dogs learn to voluntarily place their snout into the muzzle and feel relaxed wearing it. Training should always be gradual and reward-based—never forced. (Check out the training video below for guidance.)
Made from lightweight plastic with a soft padded nose bridge, this muzzle features a quick-release buckle and adjustable nylon neck strap for a secure and comfortable fit. We’ve also added a treat hole in the front so you can reward your dog easily throughout the training process.
Sizing Info:
We will size the Practice Muzzle using the measurements you provide for your Custom Muzzle order.
Please note:
- The maximum size available fits a snout circumference of 35 cm and a snout length (on top) of 8.9 cm.
- If your dog is between sizes, we’ll size up—since this muzzle is intended for training only, a looser fit is acceptable.
