How Our Furry Friends Communicate and What They Are Saying
A CHILDREN'S BOOK WITH IMAGES FROM WORLD RENOWN DOG ILLUSTRATOR LILI CHIN
If you watch very closely . . . you’ll see your pup talk!
Dogs are communicating with us all the time―even without words, they can tell us that they want to play, get scritches, or say I love you! From sniffers and ears to muzzles and rears, from tail wags to tongue flicks and everything in between . . . what is your pup trying to say?
This rollicking rhyming picture book by Kersten Hamilton, with lively illustrations from Lili Chin, explores all the ways that dogs express themselves, perfect for pup lovers of all ages.
With a lot of false and outdated information available about dogs it is refreshing to see a book for kids that actually has accurate information. It is important for children to learn to interpret dog behaviour/communication to know when dogs want to be snuggled and when they want to be left alone. A great book to educate the whole family!
While the pages are very kid friendly and minimal in text, the author actually went through the effort of explaining every dog behaviour mentioned on the pages thoroughly in the back of the book to give the adults more to talk about in an age appropriate way.
Lili Chin’s adorable illustrations don't disappoint and who doesn't like a good rhyme!? Fun! 🐶🐾
