Tough Soft Dog Toy

ROWDIE TUG TOY - BUILT FOR ROUGH PLAY

Rowdie contains two of West Paw's sturdiest technologies, reinforced HardyTex® fabric with mesh backing make up their bodies, and a Zogoflex® chew zone. Embroidered eyes cannot be plucked off by teeth. Rowdies contain a squeaker to prompt play, however unlike the unique fabric choices that guarantee the Rowdie to be so long lasting, the squeaker itself is no different to standard dog toy squeakers, so won't be super long lasting if you've got a dog that loves to squeak. The Custer has one arm and is the ideal shape and size for snuggling and chewing for medium to small dogs. Width: 8 cm Height: 28 cm

Favorite toy

Whippet loves to take this toy everywhere she goes. Great texture for chewing and the squeak is modest. Great investment.

Nice! This one is a favourite in our house as well. Mousy loves that it's soft but yet she has had it for years unlike the usual soft toys. Thanks so much for the review, glad it's a fave. :)

Very happy with this purchase. Ricky loves his rowdie and plays with it most days. The dogs play tug of war with it and toss it around, so far it’s shown no signs of wear and tear.

Rowdie and Custer squeakers don’t last!

I purchased both the Rowdie and the Custer for my Kelpie. He loves a good squeaking toy but I’m afraid these are hopeless as the squeakers stopped working on both after a very short time. For the price the are very bad value.

Hi Sandra, Thanks for the review. The squeakers are indeed not long lasting in these toys as their special feature and the true value is the reinforced HardyTex® fabric with mesh backing that ensures they are a long lasting soft toy that's not ripped to pieces easily.
I did explain when I replaced the toy for free that the squeaker won't last and that you may wish to replace it with a different item if the squeaker is important to you. Hopefully the Kelpie is enjoying having a super long lasting soft toy.

That’s a no from us - I was hoping with the price of it, it would be at least a little stronger than a stuffed toy, not for this big black lab or ours, worth a try though!

Sounds like Harvee is a strong chewer, so that makes sense it's a no for him. Glad you guys are checking out our GoughNuts instead and also glad we found a good solution for the broken Rowdie. :)
