I got one of these for our two dogs and loved it so much, I got a second one. They are perfect - the length, texture, size, shape, and weight are ideal. They resist tangling and dirt, even when dragged in the mud for an entire walk. They are comfortable to hold, and use and they also look amazing.

I find the long line perfect for the beach. Gives my pup a bit of freedom but I'm still in control. It is really soft and easy on your hands and being waterproof means you don't have to deal with a wet sandy lead. He loves to grab the lead in his mouth and run. Other canvas leads have started to frey but he hasn't even made a dent in this one. Very happy with my purchase.

As owner of an large breed anxious dog who has recently moved to a high dog resident population where daily beach walks were challenging. The 5m Biothane lead has been a game changer. My dog can do almost everything he can do as if offlead, but is always under my control which has boosted both our confidence. My dog can contently sniffs and does his `offleash' doggy routine while I can walk at a constant pace, no longer getting my arm pulled out of my socket. Any potentially negative dog interactions can be avoided by easily looping up the leash to 1m length with controlled interaction or avoidance. We have used the leash in all weathers and the sand / mud falls off easily, and rarely catches on ground during the walk. Cleans and dries easily. Teaming it up with a harness for better dog comfort with attachment at top of the neck. Thoroughly recommend for all owners of anxious or reactive dogs in a rural / beach environment.

Unfortunately the 10 metre length is just too long. I have a 5 month old miniature schnauzer who finds the world one big exploration and adventure and everything has to be explored at speed. When she reaches the end of the line at speed, I get jolted. I regret not having bought the 5 metre length but can see the benefit of a longer lead with bigger and more settled dogs.

Our experience with other longlines have been soggy, not so nice to touch and then it somehow snapped our dog's leg when she quickly turned on a run. Bizarre but made her scared. Using this with our pup in a paddock is working well. Its not soggy, easy to clean and has a nicer feel when gets wet. Great product.

Absolutely love our new Biothane long line! Our girl can still sniff everything in site but we can get her back and keep her safe, feels nice in your hands and strong 🥰

Much easier on my hands with a strong Staffy that occasionally goes for a unexpected high speed tug! Perfect for our beach walks and doesn’t knot or kink up - easy to clean and dry. Worth the extra cost. Highly recommended.

We have been using the 5 metre lead for a few weeks now for our mastiff cross 9 month old. I really wasn't sure what length to choose initially but 5 metres was the perfect choice. It has made walking our puppy stress free and he doesn't seem to mind that he is on this lead., He has lots of freedom to move ahead of us walking and importantly, to stop and take his sniffs as required. Highly recommend this lead. Now for a bio thane collar!

I was previously using a fabric long line that when wet would weigh my Jack Russell down a lot on walks. This biothane long line has been amazing as it’s waterproof & hardly ever gets tangled. The quality is great. Definitely a good investment to allow more freedom on walks & when teaching recall. I highly recommend!

Excellent quality leash, doesn’t get knotted and so easy to clean. I really wish I have bought this earlier and highly recommend! Fast drying and strong as well. Great leash.

Kiwi Canine kindly had made a shorter long line to cater for my special requirements. It was upgraded to be even more secure! All my queries were answered in detail and promptly and the order was received very quickly.

Very impressed with the quality of the lead and strong hardware. Stitched ends means no holes have been drilled through the lead and its strength has not been compromised! Kiwi Canine was the only supplier I could find that offered stitching in place of rivets. My dog is a puppy but will grow to weigh 60 -70 kgs so the strength of my long lead is very important. I have only just started training with this lead but I think it will be a very go to training tool.

This feels great to handle, super easy to clean - just wipe over with damp cloth, doesn't get smelly and an invaluable training tool!! Wouldn't have anything other than biothane now... well worth the money :)

I’m very happy with this purchase. I walk my dog regularly at the beach so it’s great to know that the water is not going to damage it and weigh it down. I also find it easier on my hands when he takes off a bit too enthusiastically - no rope burn yet 🙂

Very happy with this purchase. Makes time down the beach less stressful not having to worry about our dog taking off to chase birds but still gives him a bit of freedom to have a run around. Awesome for when he swims, doesn’t hold water and easy to clean. Wish we had got one earlier.

This is the best product we have bought - a lot better to use than a retractable lead. 10m is ideal for ur puppy and lets her go out swimming a long way whilst still being under my control. The biothane is so easy to handle and clean after the walk. My order arrived within two days which was great service!!!
